Julianna Kiecker - Director
Julianna graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. Afterwards, she returned to school to obtain certifications in Early Childhood Education and Administration. Currently, she is in a master's degree program for Educational Administration.
She is honored to be entrusted with the responsibility to ensure we have a school and staff that provide the highest quality, Christ-centered care and education for your most precious blessings! Getting to witness children’s ‘aha’ moments and sharing Jesus’ love with the students, family, and staff is what she is most passionate about and blessed to be able to experience every day.
Julianna is married to Pastor Phil, the pastor of Refuge Church in Raleigh. They have one wonderful daughter who recently graduated from our ELC and has moved on to kindergarten. Together, they have been serving Refuge and the people of Raleigh since 2011.
Bridget Mason-Gray - Assistant Director
Bridget holds a staggering 3 degrees: Interior Design, Birth through Kindergarten Non-Teaching Licensure, and a Birth through Kindergarten Teaching Licensure. She’s also not a stranger to our Early Learning Center. Her mother helped start the ELC back in 1997, and she spent countless hours volunteering here as a child.
However, working in education was not a part of her personal plan. It wasn’t until she underwent a hospitalization for sudden heart failure in 2018 that she felt convicted by God to do something beyond herself and sought out a job at our Early Learning Center.
Bridget knows God kept her on this earth for a reason, and while she may not always know all the details, she knows God has called her to be here at Refuge to help do his work through her love of education.
She and her sweet husband have a dog named Frankenstein, who needs all the love and attention she can get. She may be a little neurotic, but they love her for it.
Bridget will be teaching PreK4 full-time during the Spring 2025 semester.
Bonnie Boyle - Bookkeeper
Bonnie has been a bookkeeper in ministry settings for 4 years now, and was in education for 18 years in public, private, and Christian settings. She has a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on PreK through 6th grade. She also has an associate degree in Business.
She has been working at Refuge since her family moved to the Raleigh area in 2021. Her favorite aspect about being a part of our ELC team is being able to share the love of Christ with all the students and parents.
Emily Stagg - Administrative Assistant
Emily will be serving as our Administrative Assistant during the Spring 2025 semester.
